Welcome to world class vocational education and training!
Get work ready while still a teenager - the TEC advantage.
If you are 15-19 years of age a TEC gives you the opportunity to do vocational education and training, and to get a head start on your career.
At a TEC you can do preparatory TAFE / Trade Tasters, intensive pre-apprenticeship programs, or combine vocational education and training with a senior school certificate over 2-3 years.
You can do vocational education and training at a TEC whether you are still at school or have left school. Either way you will be working with your friends, and with the support of a dedicated team of trainers, in special facilities developed just for you.
It's the best of both worlds - you maintain your connection with your school and your friends, you get a head start on your career, and you gain a recognised qualification.
TEC students will graduate with one or a combination of the following qualifications: Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificates - Level 2, Pre-apprenticeship units, Australian School Based Apprenticeships, Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) or Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
