TEC Courses

Shepparton

The Shepparton TEC will deliver intermediate and senior full time VCAL programs for Year 11 and 12 students in 2009.

Students and families now have the option of a full time Shepparton TEC enrolment or a shared enrolment model with their existing Secondary College.

Students who enrol full time at the Shepparton TEC will receive their industry (vocational) training and complete academic studies on campus through GOTAFE.

A shared enrolment is available for both VCE and VCAL students. These students will attend their existing Secondary College for their academic studies and attend GOTAFE for their industry training, work placement and work related skills, all designed to prepare them for the world of work.

Vocational programs on offer to both VCE and VCAL students for 2009 include:

Wangaratta

The Wangaratta TEC will deliver VCAL/VET and VCE/VET programs from Year 9 through to Year 12 in conjunction with Wangaratta High School. Programs include:

Automotive Technology Studies
VET Building and Construction
Business
Community Recreation
Concept Development for Clothing Products
Conservation and Land Management
Community Services
Creative Industries
Electrotechnology
Engineering Studies
Equine
Furnishing
Food Processing (Wine)
Horticulture
Hospitality (Operations)
Multimedia
Music Industry (Foundation)
Outdoor Recreation

All courses are subject to student demand. VCAL/VET and VCE/VET students typically undertake more than one VET course or a VET course plus a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship.
